It is awesome because I get paid to do almost nothing. I get paid 120% more moneys and do 90% less work then I ever did at LSC, and due to my schedule I don't work weekends and I have Thursdays off >_> curse you seniority .... [shakes fist]
The down side is, I am currently on a 10 hour shift, the drive to and from work is 30 minutes down a highway and farm roads that contain LOTS of deers >_>
How ever I am looking forward to both A-Cen and A-Kon this month >_< OMG 2 anime cons in one month [dies] I hope to get Skah repainted by Thursday night, otherwise he will not be going to Acen... since Acen is this weekend...
And for those who are not locals and are not aware of her, I got a new doll on April 23. I will get pictures taken and posted soon ^_^, though, I may just hold off for a few more weeks so my Texas friends get to see the surprise at Akon ^_^♥ SHE IS SO CUTE!!!!

This week in a nutshell
Monday -
Work was good, REALLY GOOD, I got offered to transfer to the HVC department and gain a permanent position. So basically I dont have to worry about losing my job when Verizon decides to end the redirect department, which is the department I was in until ... Wednesday...
Tuesday - We had a quiet little party in my section of the redirect department because my birthday was on Wednesday, Tuesday had a small bit of a downer when Chastity, my boss, came over and told me I had to work on my birthday >_<
Wednesday - I worked for 4 hours in the morning then hung out with

zingor all afternoon and evening. I made a corset/bratop/top of a dress, with some scrap she had left over from making a pair of wings for her soon to come home Soom Vesuvia, I got home around 1am, and in bed by 2am >_<Thursday - I woke up WAY too early 7am to be to work at 8am for HVC training and was a zombie for most of the morning and afternoon. then sat down on my bed to watch an anime when I got home around 6 and the next thing I knew dad was calling me to bring him a dustpan and wanting to know if I wanted dinner >_<
HVC this department will be really different from Redirect...
I almost do not want to switch >_< but, I really want the various insurances that are offered... [sigh] there is so much new stuff that I will have to remember and the one that will probably be the hardest is not saying "Thank you for calling Verizon [insert rest of intro here], How may I direct your call today." Now I have to make sure to make sure I am talking to the person who owns the account, and that I have the right account, and flip through 4-8 programs to make sure that everything is good before the call ends >_< instead of being on the phone for 90seconds every 10 minutes it is closer to 8 minutes every 30 minutes >_<
Uno and crazy 8s games will be much more interesting with the longer calls.

B took the one of Skah using my phone to talk to friends and Z took the OTHER one today... they used their cell phones
Jason was working on laying the communication lines when he came to the paved road. Due to the rules of the military, they are not permitted to tunnel under existing roads or tear the existing road up if it is cement, turf, or some other semi permanent surface so he needed to string the wires up over the road. He pulled out the ladder, along with a couple of soldier buddies and prepaired to climb the ladder so the lines could go over the road. He climbed up and no one was sure what connected where but something did and [ZAP] my brother fell from the top of the ladder and after 6-12 hours of trying to revive him, they pronounced him dead. This all happened on March 19, 2004. We were out of town, and the first attempt to inform us we were out of town. We returned from the trip March 22, 2004 and were in the process of unpacking when the soldier came to the door with the news.
You never know how much you love someone until they are gone.
To everyone on my list in honor of my brother, please call up who ever you take for granted, don't talk to very often, a friend, a family member, anyone. Have a few laughs with them and tell them you love them. You never know when they will be taken from you. You never know when your last goodbye to them will be.
It doesn't matter who it is, just call them.

I figure it was a cat knocking something over, but then the noises in there kept up and I go check it out...
THERE WAS THE CUTEST RACOON
He was standing at the top of the stairs and froze when he saw me comming... then unlike normal he bolted toward the pantry, normally they bolt down the stairs and out of the house. I flipped on the light, just before he bolted, and I follow him, keeping a safe distance from him as I am only wearing a pair of designer jeans with that really pansy denim instead of sturdy working denim. He proceeded to climb the pantry shelves knocking over everything in his path and clung to the window frame.
Seriously cute.
I closed the pantry door so he couldn't escape and went to wake Dad up, then grabbed a cat carrier from the garage. Dad got some leather gloves a thick wool sweater and coaxed the guy into a corner of the pantry and pinned him until he slid down into the cage. Dad then went off to the north end of town beyond the Kickapoo river to release him.
I only wish I could have gotten a picture of the little fellow, but alas my camera is in the other house and out of reach. Oh well, next time, there are plenty of racoons in the area, I know at least 3 dine in our house every night 2 at 0:30 and another around 4. There are probably more now because last time Dad chased the 4am one off, she was EXTREMELY fat, as in around 3 times the normal size so we thinks she is a she with babies, BUT we could be wrong >_<
The little dark spot under his chin is a little weird... I'll get used to it, but it makes his lips look even more yummy in pictures.
I took him to work today and had OH SO many compliments on him ^_^♥

- IF I have the money to cover airfair, hotel cost, AND $400 by the time Moogi, O'ma, Kathy, and whoever else is going, to Vegas I will join them. If I do, see dolly plans, I am buying the 2 dolls at that time saves on shipping costs and paypal fees.
- Akon plans are being finalized. I hope to head down to Texas the Friday before, so I will be down there for a week.

- DOG, Riq and Raquette got in trouble with my aunt twice this week, both times in the middle of the night,
- Tuesday they got yelled at around 5am when DOG did something... Sherry was yelling and bitching him out for lord only knows what reason. She chased them up the stares to my rooms and i couldn't help but laugh
- Thursday they got yelled at again, Riq had already returned from downstares with a kitty food lid and was chewing on it until I took it from him, then Sherry lugs DOG up the stairs and closes the door, Raquette was getting chased around by her weilding squirt bottles, I carried the grey fuzball upstairs.
- There is what Dad thinks is pregnant, racoon, she keeps coming in around 4am and gets into a squabble with another racoon in the kitchen >_< Dad keeps getting woken up by her and having to chase her away.
- I hope that one of these places I keep applying to will give me an interview soon, I still have to pay for Amber and I have 25 Days before I must pay my CC bill... dad will not be happy when he finds out that i have a new credit card he doesnt know about.... >_< oh well...

zingor , zingor is getting the hooves and wig, I am getting everything else... she is coming unpainted since we both do faceups and blushing it will be no problem for either of us. I am getting the dress, and for giggles I got the eyes also.The antlers will go on the Souldoll Chiron, the eyes will go in my eye box and the regular hip part will go on my shelf with the floating heads and extra hands...
I am hoping that
lostabeauty decides she doesnt want the hooves from her Heliot, because I'm first on her FS list for them and his head. YES I AM STILL INTERESTED ^_^♥ with luck I wont want anything from the rest of the year's MD >_< or atleast nothing more then a part or two from each.
The first payment will be up to $100 less then the max of the credit card I just got approved on, I wont find out the max until it arrives in 7-10 days with luck it will arrive sooner rather then later >_< and I can pay for her without having to reordering her due to cancelation by soom.
The credit card was gotten so I could buy her and cover the first payment with the card giving me a few extra days to find that job I desperately need. I think placing that order for Amber is the best thing I could have done.

I also created the new dress he is wearing. I am working up a pattern so I can make more to sell. I also have someone lending me a mature mini so I know if it will fit one... I will be making a bunch of them in 4 colors (New denim, old denim, white, navy blue) and they will be for sale sometime by next weekend. It has a sailor collar and comes with the satin cranberry scarf, I'll dig through my satin collection and probably have other scarves for options.

There is an age gap between these two is large, Silya is 16 and Reno is 29. Silya's older brother Skah is fine with the relationship. Silya being a pop idol, he keeps the relationship very quiet for two reasons. 1 Silya is still a minor, his lover is 13 years older then him and 2 he is strait except for Reno.

[goes looking for a new job]
keeley_keena her Jagger, MNF El, he arrived yesterday, and i did 3 photoshoots of him. The other two are posted over on blaknite_dolls , or will be as soon as I post them.He is borrowing Kurenai's Dollzone body for the pictures and other then a little darker on the body they match really well.
His eyes are Souldoll P65 in 14mm and they look spectacular in him. They are a super dark blue that only shows up blue in the right lighting otherwise they look black but they work so well in him.
( more Orion )</lj></lj>She was one of my two favorite characters on the program. In her memory, I decided to take the line from one of the episodes and live my life by it. Every Tuesday I will be baking something. Last week I made cookies, this week I am sick so I must skip baking. Norra would still bake even if she was on her death bed...
Next week I will bake 2 batches of something, to make up for this week.
My other favorite character died in 1999 he was William 'Compo' Simmonite, played by Bill Owen.
Now there are only 2 characters left from the original cast, Peter Sallis and Jane Freeman who play Norman Clegg and Ivy.
If you have never seen this series, I highly recomend it, it is about a bunch of old geezers who have nothing better to do then harrass the local old wifes and roam the country side getting into trouble. It is one of the longest running TV series ever.
If I ever go to the UK I am so going to the town the series is filmed in.

I'm going to bed early tonight... screw editing the photos until maybe tomorrow night.
I spent all of Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday cleaning my room so my parents would let me go to the Dairyland Doll Meetup in Milwaukee, WI. I finished up around 10pm on Friday. Good thing too, I had just enough time to take a shower before Meijuli and CrystalBanshee came over. On my way into the shower, Meijuli had to back out, something came up, she missed the meet. CrystalBanshee arrived about 10:45 while I was finishing up the Leeke Group order. We chatted, played dollies until 2am then decided we should sleep since we had to wake up at 6:30 to get on the road.
Saturday Raquette woke me up at 6:00 by sleeping on my face... thanks cat... then we got up just before the alarm went off. Took forever to get out the door, the goal was 7am, made it out around 7:45 and started the LONG drive up to Wisconsin. We took a detour to look at a wind farm... and take a few pictures of them and an old decrepit barn.
We arrived about 11:20 not bad conisdering I was driving 80mph and took the wrong turn on a highway... IT WAS NOT MARKED... We walked in and there were tons of people. the total count came out to be 67 attendees, and way too many dolls to even try and count.
I will be going through what few pictures CrystalBanshee and I took. But I'll get them up here in the next couple of days.
Also, I brought almost $50 with me, sold some stuff and spent most of the money I ended up with.
I purchased:
- 1 Pair of Sexy Tensiya pants, I was debating on buying them for about 2 hours before I finally put them on Reno and nearly passed out from the sexyness of them... >_>
- 3 pair of Glass eyes,
- 20mm Blue I put them in Reno, and said yep those fit Kollin beautifuly... Reno is still wearing them... I'll be changing them out in the next few days
- 18mm Champaign, No dolls for them yet
- 16mm Blue, Depending what they look like in Orion I may let him have them... but they will probably be too big, if they are too big, they become just another pair of eyes in my eye box
- Pair of 16mm Souldoll P114, and compairing them to the 18mm ones I got back in October they are the same color ^_^ I am happy to now know what color my random colored Souldoll eyes are
- 1 BRIGHT red wig, currently Kurenai is playing around in it. I think my next MNF after Orion will be a neon red head... man that wig is red... Reno's wigs are not nearly as red as this red is >_<
- 1 pair of 16mm Acrylic eyes that came in Akai's girl.
Couple pairs of eyes in 20mm and 8mm, a couple of small Puki/OD So clothing I made, and one or two other things.
Next time I will be prepaired with everything bagged and priced.
IN OTHER NEWS
I am working on 60-70cm sized doll furnature. I am starting off on a 3 person couch and a matching chair. I will post them when I complete them. I will start selling them once I have them perfected.
Nobuta wo Produce is an awesome show, and if anyone has been wondering about my icons, 12 of them are Akira or Shuji or both from Nobuta wo Produce, there are 3 with Nobuta in them with or without Shuji and Akira. Akira is played by Yamashita Tomohisa and Shuji is played by Kamenashi Kazuya, Nobuta is Horikita Maki.
I just started watching a series called Kurosagi the main characters are Kurosaki and Yoshikawa played by YamaPi and Maki respectively... their characters are completely different then in NwP but they still have the same hair styles as they did at the end of NwP so it is a little creepy, I keep wanting to see Kamechan pop up and hang out with them making pig keychains >_<
